As we shake out the cobwebs on Monday morning, the reunion was nothing but a success.
To all who attended, it was great to see you and thank you for taking the time (some traveling great distances) to join us to celebrate 25 years.
To our sponsors, thanks you for helping us stage this event and making it a success.
To the Musikfest staff, you did an awesome job and everything was perfect.

Last Chance
We are down to the wire and less than two weeks away. To those of you that have signed up and sent us your money, thank you and we look forward to seeing you at our 25th.
To those of you that might still be on the fence and would like to come, you will need to contact the reunion committee immediately through the Contact link on the left and let us know. We will need to have your entrance fee no later than August 3rd to include you.
Please note that there will be no walk up admission at the event itself.

Time to get serious
Hello Everyone,
The reunion is only a few short weeks away and it has been a very long road in planning it. To those of you who have registered and sent in your money, we thank you for responding. To those of you considering attending but have not registered, we urge you to do so and soon! The deadline is July 1st! And for those of you who are not intending on coming, we ask that you reconsider.
The entire Reunion Committee has put an incredible amount of work, spent an amazing amount of our personal time, sacrificed time with our families and basically, just busted our butts to pull off this event. The committee has been disappointed by the slow and lack of response up to this point.
We urge everyone that this email reaches to please, spread the word, send in your responses and join us for a great night.
If we can't reach our contracted number of attendees for this event, we will have to cancel it. And we do not want to see all the time and effort that the committee members have put into this go to waste!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

DEADLINE Approaching!
Liberty and Freedom Alum,
We are now getting to the final stages of planning for our 25th. With that said, we need you to let us know you are coming.
We need to have all registrations, and more important, money, by July 1, 2008.
This will allow us to give a head count to Musikfest so we can plan food and drink in sufficient quantities.
To register, go to Reunion Registration Site. You have the option to either send a check directly to the reunion committee, or pay online. Please note that there is a $10 convenience fee to use this service.
This will be a great event, and a few of the committee attended the Class of 82 reunion at Musikfest and had a great time, so mark you calendar, get yourself registered and we will see you in August.

Getting Close
Here we are in May, and that means that we are only a few months away from our 25th! But, we still have a long way to go before we get there on the planning side. This is where you, the Liberty and Freedom Alumni can help us out.
First, if you are planning on attending and haven't yet registered, please go to the Reunion Registration Site and sign up. We will need to give a head count to Musikfest in the next couple of months and we really need to have a good idea on the tunrout we can expect.
The second item is sponsorships. We are actively seeking corporate and business sponsors for the reunion. These sponsorships have a double benefit. First, it helps us lower the cost per person for the reunion itself, and second, for the sponsor, they get a tax deduction for their donation. So, if you have a business, or know someone that owns a business that could sign up for a sponsorship, you download the forms and have them filled out an mailed to the committee.
In exchange for sponsorship, the business will have its name and website posted on both the Reunion Registration Site and this Class of 83 Blog Site.
You can download the Liberty Sponsorship Form or the Freedom Sponsorship Form to print and fill out.
Last but not least, pictures. We would like to get pictures from alumni that were taken during high school to add to our slide show. If you can email them to the reunion committee, we will make sure they get included.

We Need Your Help
Liberty and Freedom Class of '83,
Now that plans for our 25th reunion are moving forward, the joint reunion committee would like to ask a favor of you.
First, we are seeking corporate and business sponsorships. These sponsorships will help pay for the costs of the reunion and help lower the cost per person to attend. There are many benefits to sponsorship. Since the reunion committees are non-profit, any sponsor will be able to deduct sponsorship fees on their taxes. They will also get exposure on this web site (even after the reunion), and for certain levels of sponsorship, inclusion in the reunion program, on banners at the reunion, and in a slide show that will run continuously during the event.
So, if you have a business, or know someone that has a business (alumni or not), E-Mail the Reunion Committee and we will send you the necessary forms to secure the sponsorship.
And, speaking of the running slide show, we are looking for any photos from high school that you would could provide to be part of the slide show. We will be digitizing the pictures from both yearbooks as well, but would like to also include any photos that were not part of them. If you have the ability to scan in your photos, e-mail them to the Reunion Committee and we will include them in the slide show.
